The Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association has a full schedule of events conducted each summer, beginning in April and running through October.
We conduct 11 Metropolitan Championships and the Amateur Series which are open to golfers who have an active USGA Handicap Index through one of our Member Clubs. Championships have varying Handicap Requirements, while the Amateur Series has both gross and net divisions for golfers of all ages.

The USGA conducts 14 National Championships each year. Allied Golf Associations conduct qualifying rounds on behalf of the USGA for these championships. Annually, MAGA conducts 10 qualifying rounds of the 14 National Championships.
