100 Hole Hike is Complete!

Donate NOW!

St. Louis, MO - The 100 Hole Hike is a one day challenge where hikers (i.e. golfers) play 100 holes of golf before they run out of sunlight. Each hiker sets a goal for the funds they would like to raise, and then asks their network of friends, family, and colleagues to donate or pledge an amount for each hole of golf they successfully complete. The 100 Hole Hike is considered the ultimate fundraising challenge in golf and benefits an important cause in the game.

Today is the day that we take on the 100 Hole Hike right here in the Metropolitan to benefit area kids so they may access affordable golf! Follow along as we conquer the Hike and continue to raise money for Youth On Course. We will post updates to our social media accounts (on both @MetAmateurGA and @MetroGolfFoundation accounts) as well as below throughout the day. Hikers will kick off their day, bright and early at 8:00a.m.

About Youth on Course:

Youth on Course works to ensure that all youth can access the game of golf through affordable rates. Junior golfers pay an annual fee of $25 for a YOC membership, and then get to play rounds of golf for $5 or less at participating clubs. There are over 2,000 clubs across the United States, Canada, and Australia dedicated to this initiative. 17 of these clubs are a Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association Member Club. Youth on Course currently has over 197,000 members that have played over 3 million rounds of golf for $5 or less. Through donations, YOC is able to help keep the cost of rounds down for junior golfers. Youth on Course is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
