Dr. Andy Frost came from two shots back Tuesday at Franklin County CC in Washington, MO to capture the 20th Senior Amateur Championship. Frost had rounds of 73-71 for a 2-over par finish at 144 and one shot clear of Jeff Johnson at 145. Frost’s name will be added to the George F. Meyer Trophy.
Frost completed a great 2012 season, capturing the Normandie Amateur, STLDGA Senior Championship and the MAGA Senior. Even with his fine play, he was unable to catch Jeff Johnson in the 2012 Senior Player of the Year race. Johnson also had a great 2012 campaign and capped off his second Senior Player of the Year.
