Senior PGA Participants in field at Old Warson
The Senior PGA Championship concluded Sunday at Bellerive Country Club. Four of the players from Bellerive who made the cut will also be back in St. Louis a week from Monday at Old Warson Country Club to play in US Open Sectional Qualifying. Jay Haas, Mark O’Meara, Jay Don Blake and Don Berry all made the cut in the 2013 Senior PGA this week and will be in the field attempting to qualify for the US Open.
Belleville native Haas played in the final group on Sunday with Kenny Perry and would finish in T-2 position with Perry at 9-under. O’Meara had one of the best rounds of the Championship on Sunday and made up a lot of ground on the weekend, he finished in solo 4th at 8-under.
