Allen Leads 10th East Side Amateur
The group of Buddy Allen, Eli Grant and Dr. Andy Frost were the hottest group of the day at Lockhaven GC, firing rounds of 68, 69 and 72 respectively. Allen had 5 birdies to 2 bogeys for his 3-under 68 and 1st round lead of the 10th East Side Amateur.
A host of players are one shot back at 2-under 69. Bob Hanneken, Corey Choate, Eli Grant, defending East Side Champ Jeremy Franklin and UMSL golf coach Troy Halterman are in that group. Sam Migdal was the only other player under par with 70.
Final round begins at 7:30am Sunday, the final group of Allen, Hanneken and Choate will tee off at 12:10pm.
