Quincy CC Set to Host US Senior Open Qualifier

Quincy Country Club will host US Senior Open Qualifying Monday for 44 of the over 50 crowd attempting to make it to the US Senior Open at Omaha Country Club in a couple weeks. However, only 1 spot is available out of those 44 players. The US Senior Open is quite possibly the toughest USGA Championship to qualify for because of the limited number of spots available.
Quincy CC has hosted USGA Senior Amateur Qualifying (2006) and US Mid-Amateur Qualifying (2010) in recent years. The 6456 yard Par 70 golf course boasts some of the best putting surfaces in the region and is always a magnificent test.

The field is also very strong with the likes of professionals Jay Delsing, Trevor Dodds, Nash Haxel and Jeff Whitfield. Then throw in a mix of some of the areas best senior amateurs like Jack Eisenbeis, David Johnson and Quincy CC members Kevin Becker, Tim Eaton and Jim Millman.

The shootout begins at 8:30am with the first group of Kevin Becker and Michael Wensing. Check out all the scoring via the MAGA Scoreboard.
