Aberdeen Hosts Final Amateur Public Links Qualifying
The 89th, and final, US Amateur Public Links Championship will be conducted in 2014. The USGA announced last year they were retiring the Public Links Championship and adding the US Amateur Four-Ball Championship in 2015.
Forty-two (42) hopefuls have registered for the local qualifying site at Aberdeen Golf Club June 9-10, a 36-hole qualifying. Two individuals will find their way to the final US APL at Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS.
