Port Leads After Even Par Round in Women’s Amateur
Twelve time MAGA Women’s Amateur champion Ellen Port leads following an Even par round of 72 at Forest Hills Country Club today in the 22nd playing of the championship. Port, whose last win came in 2010, has a 3 shot cushion over defending champion Catherine Dolan. Dolan had a round of 75 today over the 5,987 yard layout.
Round 2 begins at 9:00a Wednesday, with the lead group of Port, Dolan and Brooke Cusumano going at 11:20am.
