MAGA & KCGA Tied After Day 1 of Mid-America Cup
It was a beautiful day at Fox Run Golf Club for the 2014 Mid-America Junior Cup Matches. The golf course is in great condition and provided a stern test for the top juniors from MAGA and the Kansas City GA (KCGA) in the annual competition.
The girls went out at first in the Four-Ball portion of the matches. The KCGA took an early 2-0 lead with wins by the KCGA girls. MAGA boys came back in the latter two matches to send the Mid-America Cup to Day 2 tied 2-2.
Sunday Foursomes will begin at 8:30a with MAGA needing 2.5 points to keep the Cup here in St. Louis.
