Pros Retain Gateway Cup at Bellerive Country Club
The pros from the Gateway PGA retain the Gateway Cup with a 22.5 to 5.5 victory Monday over the amateurs of MAGA. While the score did not indicate such, the consensus amongst the areas top professionals and amateurs were 28 great matches were played over Sunday-Monday at Bellerive Country Club.
The spirit of this Gateway Cup Matches is to bring the areas best together for the camaraderie and competition. Both organizations wholeheartedly agree the matches should be on a bigger stage showcasing the talented professionals and amateurs from the St. Louis region.
