Holtgrieve Medalist in US Senior Amateur Qualifying
Jim Holtgrieve fired an 1-over round of 73 to earn medalist honors in the US Senior Amateur Qualifying at Sunset Country Club Wednesday. The 68-year old bested a small, but strong field to earn one of the 2 spots in the US Senior Amateur.
Richard Jarrett sewed up the 2nd qualifying spot with a 75 in the second to last group of the day. The US Senior Amateur will be played September 26-October 1 at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor, NJ.
David Speicher was 1st Alternate at 76 and Kirk Provart was 2nd Alternate at 77.
