2016 PJ Boatwright Internship Opportunities
Through the USGA PJ Boatwright Internship program, MAGA is fortunate to be able to offer two internships in 2016. The PJ Boatwright Internship allows young men and women the opportunity to work for a USGA State and Regional Golf Association and experience the work SRGA’s perform in their communities.
Boatwright Interns will have the opportunity to work with MAGA in conducting its championships, USGA Qualifying Rounds and Amateur Series. They will also be exposed to the other programs MAGA offers; including, the USGA Course/Slope Rating services, USGA GHIN Handicap Service and work with our member clubs.
MAGA has two internships available in 2016, 3-month and 4-month.
Executive Director Curt Rohe is a former PJ Boatwright Intern for MAGA (1998-99). Additionally, three other former Boatwright Interns are currently serving on staff of SRGA’s around the country: Mike Wice (2006), Massachusetts Golf Association; Mike Kendrick (2013), Metropolitan Golf Association and Ian Davis (2014), Texas Golf Association.
