Drew Pranger Holds 3 Shot Advantage into Final Round of Amateur
Glen Echo’s own Drew Pranger backed up his subpar round Thursday with a 2-under 68 on Friday to have the only 36-hole score under par and lead the 26th Amateur at 3-under. Pranger had 5 birdies en-route to his 68 performance and head to Saturday with a 3 shot cushion.
Pranger will be in the final pairing Saturday at 10:20am with Alex Cusumano. Cusumano is one of 3 golfers back of Pranger at Even par for the championship, joined by Thomas Weaver and Darren Stoffel.
In all, 41 players survived the cut at 150 (+10) for the championship. Final Round pairings will begin at 7:00am at Glen Echo with the final pairing off at 10:20am. Live scoring will continue tomorrow and hole-by-hole scoring will be available for the final pairings of the day.
