The field of 73 consists of 22 professionals and 51 amateurs from around the country and internationally. Highlighting the field are Emma Talley and Ally McDonald, members of the 2014 Curtis Cup team that competed and won at St. Louis Country Club.
Competitors with local ties to watch in the field include:
• Logan Otter: a sophomore at Michigan State University and went to John Burroughs School;
• Amanda Kim: a sophomore at the University of Missouri and went to Ft. Zumwalt South High School;
• Hillery Sence: Assistant Golf Professional at Bellerive Country Club and played collegiately at University of Cincinnati.
Bogey Hills suffered a devastating blow back in February when a fire destroyed their clubhouse. However, the club and membership are excited to host this U.S. Women’s Open Qualifying for MAGA and the USGA. The Club has procured several volunteers for Wednesday to assist with live scoring and we will be providing 3-hole scoring updates the entire day.
Round 1 Groupings and Starting Times and all live scoring updates can be found via the link below. Spectators are welcome and it is free of charge to come out to watch some of the country’s best compete for a spot in a USGA national championship.
