Two Sides Qualify for 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball
The USGA qualifying season wrapped up Monday with the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball qualifying at Sunset Country Club. Forty-nine sides teed it up in hopes of punching one of two tickets to the 2018 championship. The championship will be played next May 19-23 at the Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, FL.
The team of Garrett Marschke and Alex Cusumano were one of the early starting times off Monday, they set a set tremendous pace with a blazing 7-under front 9 and would finish the day at 10-under 62. The team of Brad Nurski and Skip Berkmeyer would equal that 62 later in the day to earn co-medalist honors.
Jay and Brian Csipkes came in at 64 (-8) for 1st Alternate with Heath Peters and Brett Gould finishing in the final group at 65 for 2nd Alternate. All of the day’s qualifying scores are available via the link below.
