Bryant Takes 4 Shot Lead Into Final Round of Open

Justin Bryant, from Kirkwood, MO, admittedly made a few mistakes out on the Lewis & Clark Course in Round 2 after his blistering 62 (-9) to open on Wednesday.  He would finish Day 2 at 1-under 70 and sits with the overnight lead at 10-under for the Championship.

Four others golfers are 4 shots back heading into Friday’s final round.  Bryant will be in the final pairing with David Cooke, from Bolingbrook, IL, who had rounds of 67-69 the last two days.  They will tee off at 11:00am.

Also at 6-under are 2017 Runner-Up Ryan Sullivan, Spence Fulford and Jordan Russell.  49 players survived the cut at 2-over par, the most players to make the cut in the championship history.

Among those 49 are four (4) amateurs.  Warren Crow and Kyle Szyhowski are tied for low amateur honors thru 36-holes at Even par.  Also making the cut is Chris Kovach at 1-over and 2016 Low Amateur Alex Cusumano at 2-over.

Starting times begin at 7:00am with the leaders teeing off at 11:00am.  Continue to follow live scoring and we will bring you hole-by-hole scoring of the last 6 groups on Friday by clicking here.
