Four-Ball Champions Crowned at Franklin County

10th METROPOLITAN FOUR-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

Franklin County Country Club, in Washington, MO, served as host of the 10th Four-Ball Championship this week.  This was the first go at a 36-hole championship in the Four-Ball and the response from the players was overwhelming enthusiastic.

The Franklin County CC team of Ryan Helfrich and John Rosenbaum came out on top of the Net Division with an 11-under total after rounds of 66-65.  2018 Net champions King Edmonston and Marvin Frazier finished 5 shots back at -6.

In the Open Division, Ryan Eckelkamp and David Strickland won their 3rd Four-Ball title, also winning in 2010 and 2016.  Eckelkamp is also a Franklin County member, while Strickland plays at Tapawingo.  They had rounds of 67-71 for a 4-under total.  With a 67 on Tuesday in Round 2, the side of Ethan Corlija and Todd DeGrand worked their way into contention just ahead of the champions.  They finished at 3-under total and the Runner-Up finish.
