2019 Mid America Junior Cup Team Annouced
The 2019 Mid-America Junior Cup team is set! The Mid America Junior Cup is a collaborative event between MAGA and the Kansas City Golf Association. Each team consists of 8 junior golfers, 4 boys and 4 girls, from each side of the state and play several match play formats including Four-Ball, Foursomes and Singles. The event will be hosted by the KCGA this year and will be played at Kansas City Country Club in Mission Hills, KS. KGCA retained the Cup at Bogey Hills CC last year, while MAGA leads the overall matches 9-7-3.

Braden Hoisington, a junior at Fort Zumwalt West, won the Metropolitan Junior Amateur this summer at St. Clair Country Club and was the 2019 Gateway Athletic Conference South Division Player of the Year.
Ryan Walsh, a sophomore at Chaminade, finished T-3rd at the Class-4 Sate Tournament which helped lead the Chaminade team to an overall 2nd place finish.
Jack Guyot, a junior at Chaminade, won the 2019 Gateway Junior PGA Championship at WingHaven Country Club and placed 2nd overall in the Gateway Junior PGA Player of the Year Standings.
Kal Kolar, a sophomore at Maplewood-Richmond Heights, won his age division at the 2019 Metropolitan Junior Amateur and was the medalist at the Class 2 District 5 Championship in April. Kal is a past Mid-America Junior Cup team member.
Mia Rallo, a sophomore at St. Joseph’s Academy, finished 2nd at the Gateway Junior PGA Championship and 3rd overall in the Gateway Junior PGA Player of the Year Standings.
Momo Kikuchi, a senior at Pattonville, won the 2019 Metropolitan Junior Amateur at St. Clair Country Club and is a past Mid-America Junior Cup team member.
Rylie Andrews, a freshman at St. Joseph’s Academy, won the 2019 Gateway Junior PGA Player of the Year Standings for the Girls 12-14 Age Division with several 1st places finishes, including the Gateway Junior PGA Championship in the Girls 12-14 Age Division.
Brooke Biermann, a junior at Lafayette, qualified for the 2019 US Girls Junior Championship and won the 2-Day Gateway PGA Tournament at Gateway National Golf Club. Brooke is a past Mid-America Junior Cup team member.
