St. Clair CC Set to Host 29th Women’s Amateur Championship
Belleville, IL – The 2021 MAGA championship season continues this coming Monday, June 7, with the Women’s Amateur Championship at St. Clair Country Club.
The 29th running of the tournament will go two days with tee times starting at 9:00 am CT both Monday and Tuesday. The lowest scorer of 36 holes of stroke play (18 each day) will determine the champion, and any tie(s) for the overall champion will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off.
The tournament will feature a 25-player field. 12 players will compete in the Championship flight while 13 will compete in the Net Division.
Reigning champion Kathy Glennon will defend the Jayne M. Watson Trophy. It took a 2-hole playoff against McKenna Montgomery for Glennon to win last year’s championship after they both shot 151 (+9) over the two days of play.
Live scoring through Golf Genius is available with the GGID AXSEPS.
