MAGA to Conduct U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls Junior Qualifying at The Legends Country Club
Eureka, MO. – MAGA will conduct U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls Junior qualifying this Monday, June 11, at The Legends Country Club in Eureka.
A total of 72 players, 30 girls and 42 boys, will tee it up for 18 holes. Both groups have three spots available and two alternate positions.
The U.S. Junior Amateur is set for July 19-24 at The Country Club of North Carolina in the The Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina. The U.S. Girls Junior will be played July 12-17 at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Saint Louis area high schools will be well-represented. Local girls golf powerhouse St. Joseph’s Academy has two in the field, Penn State signee Drew Neinhaus and Central Missouri signee Nicolle Rallo. On the boys side, Blake Skornia is coming off a state championship at DeSmet Jesuit High School.
First tee times will go off at 7:30 a.m. on Monday. Spectators are welcome.
