Hulsey and McKinney Lead Open Division After First Day of Four-Ball
Washington, MO – Brett Hulsey and Tanner McKinney lead the Open division of the 12th Metropolitan Four-Ball Championship at Franklin County Country Club. The pair shot an 8-under 63 the first 18 holes on Sunday.
The team’s lone gross bogey came on their last hole of the day, the par 3 5th. They collectively carded 12 birdies the first day to lead the field.
Tony Gumper and Ryan Sullivan sit one shot back at 7-under. Ten teams are within five shots of the lead.
Reigning Net Division champion John Rosenbaum is the 18-hole leader with a new teammate, Jeff Richardson. The Franklin County Country Club members shot a net 6-under on Sunday.
Buddy Allen and Brian Lovett lead the Senior Gross division after shooting a 6-under. Joe Richardson and Joe Timpone are just one shot back.
Karen Umbright and Tina Jones lead the Women’s Gross Division after shooting an 82 (+11).
Final round begins Monday morning with tee times starting at 8 a.m.
