LIVE SCORING | FIRST ROUND TEE SHEET
St. Louis, MO – The 2021 MAGA championship season continues with the Normandie Amateur this weekend at Normandie Golf Club.
The 35th running of the tournament will go two days with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. CT both Saturday and Sunday. 36 holes of stroke play (18 each day) will determine the champion in the two divisions.
The 79-player field features 22 players in the Senior Division and 57 in the Open Division.
Reigning Open Division winner Chris Ferris will defend his title after winning last year at 7-under across the two days of play (67-68). Ferris joins the field after playing at the 121st U.S. Amateur Championship at Oakmont Country Club.
Last year’s Senior Division winner Joseph Malench will also vie for a repeat win. Malench won last year after a two-day score of 142 (70-72).
Ellen Port, a 16-time Metropolitan Women’s Amateur Winner, is in the field. Port is coming off of a top-20 finish at the 2021 U.S. Senior Women’s Open last month.
Other players to look out for in the field include Curtis Brokenbrow, who took home Low Amateur honors at the World Wide Technology Metropolitan Open Championship and won the 2021 Missouri Amateur, as well as David Pfeil, who recently qualified for the 2021 U.S. Senior Amateur.
